MACC must aim for target

IN A corruption case there must be a giver and a receiver. You can’t have one without the other. I have been following corruption cases in our courts. In most cases, if not all, we only see the receivers being charged. What about the giver? Why are they not charged?

We can’t deny that our Government spend billions of ringgit each year on infrastructure. And the first tenet of all government servants and politicians is: “You should report all corruption regardless of loyalty to party.”

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency must now fight tooth and nail to bring down the Corruption Perception Index. This must be its target for 2010.

Port Dickson.
